My Alternative Office Space
It’s interesting. I have an office with a big desk, nice chair, and everything, yet I do 98% of my work at my dining table.
Why? Well, there is a big thing missing in my office: a TV. I work well when I have background noise, and typically, what’s background noise for me is the DVD of a movie I know by heart or the HGTV channel.
With the TV in the living room, it only makes sense that I would park myself in the dining area. GREAT view.
There is an important note to make, however. This space is clean! LOL I was pouring through books the last few days, trying to firm up a paper topic, so earlier there were several stacks of books on the table, along with my cup of cool coffee and dishes from lunch.
I may add an update to this in about TWO days when sure enough, books, dishes, coffee, Post-its, etc. will find their space on the table yet again.
Oh, and FYI, the image on my desktop is my Second Life avatar.
