Shonell in TCR Land

It goes live for purchase next month, and I finally saw a cover of it, Encyclopedia of Social Networks. A classmate forwarded the call for submission to me over a year or so ago, and I immediately contacted those in charge of the call. Unfortunately, by the time I contacted them, some of the “seemingly cooler” topics, such as Twitter and Facebook, were already taken, but what wasn’t taken was a topic that I have always enjoyed: letter writing. So, I submitted a piece on the social networking behind letter writing, and it was accepted. This two volume collection is not necessarily for the everyday book buyer; after all, it has a price of $350. It’s more suited for libraries, colleges, universities, etc. With all that being said, it was a cool experience, I’m glad I did it, glad my piece was accepted, and glad that I can show this cover and say, “I’m in this book.”
