Shonell in TCR Land

A friend of mine asked this question in a post online and because I could never the initial link that talked about this “vook,” I went in search of it myself. Here it is…a new stage of book development.

At first glance, this is very intriguing to me. The idea of reading and immersing and interacting all at once, all within one space sounds pretty cool. But then I wonder how much all the wizardry added to the reading experience actually enhances it. Although I do interact with others about books I read, I often do it after I’ve read a book–not during. I like the one-to-many relationship I have with the characters within a book and like to immerse myself in a book until its conclusion.

Perhaps that’s a big ol’ school in thought…have to think about it.
